Mérida, Yucatán, June 3, 2025. – In an emotional event, the Bepensa Foundation symbolically delivered resources to the Ayelem Special Club AC and the La Divina Providencia Home for the Helpless Elderly AC, derived from the funds raised during the 3rd edition of the Powerade 2025 Race, held on May 4.
The ceremony took place on Tuesday, June 3, with the presence of Margarita Ponce Díaz, President of the Bepensa Foundation, who highlighted the value of solidarity and collective effort as drivers of social transformation.
"This donation demonstrates the Bepensa Foundation's commitment to the causes that truly matter. Thanks to every runner who participated, we can continue supporting the most vulnerable today," he said.
The donation represents an important support for the work of the Ayelemy La Divina Providencia Special Club, an association dedicated to the care and comprehensive development of people in vulnerable situations, especially people with intellectual disabilities and older adults, respectively.
The Bepensa Foundation deeply appreciates the participation of the runners, sponsors, and collaborators who made this worthy cause possible. Actions like this reaffirm its mission to promote initiatives that generate a positive and lasting impact on society. The entire amount donated to each non-profit organization was $172,767.50, for a total of $345,535.
