Bepensa's financial division announced today the strengthening of its financial business by signing a definitive agreement to acquire a majority stake in AB&C Leasing de México, SAPI de CV ("ABC Leasing"). ABC Leasing is a specialized leasing company with over 15 years of successful operations nationwide, primarily in western Mexico and the Mexico City Metropolitan Area.
With this acquisition, Bepensa reaffirms its commitment to growth throughout the country, strengthening its geographic presence, complementing its product offering, and providing quality solutions to our customers. It is a natural complement to our financial services offering.
The completion of this transaction is subject to various customary closing conditions, including obtaining a favorable resolution from the Federal Economic Competition Commission ("COFECE").
If this transaction is approved by the authorities, Bepensa's financial business portfolio will exceed ten billion pesos in collection rights.
ABC Leasing would join GF Bepensa, SA de CV (“GF Bepensa”) as a leasing specialist and would become a sister company of Financiera Bepensa, SA de CV SOFOM ER (FinBe), specializing in business credit and automotive business.
The transaction would be funded with GF Bepensa's own resources.
