It will be called the Coca-Cola La Isla Mérida Auditorium.
The goal is to position the Coca-Cola Auditorium as one of the most important artistic and thematic destinations in the country and abroad, company executives announced.
Mérida, February 5, 2025.- Recognized as one of the most versatile and visited venues in southeastern Mexico, whether as an entertainment center or as a venue for national and international conferences and forums, the La Isla Mérida auditorium gains renewed momentum today with the name Coca-Cola La Isla Mérida Auditorium.
The Bepensa Group announced its strategic alliance with Auditorio la Isla, marking the start of a new phase of operations in 2025, promoting concerts, conferences, and social events that will consolidate Mérida as one of the most important artistic and thematic destinations in the country and abroad.
The leading firm expressed its determination to consolidate and project the Coca-Cola Isla Mérida auditorium as one of the most important in Mexico, capable of attracting visitors with its quality services, capacity, and well-designed facilities.

Six years after singer and actor Carlos Rivera began performing at the auditorium in January 2019, the Bepensa group announced it has taken over, placing the Coca-Cola Auditorium in the national and international spotlight with prestigious events and artists.
Of course, the directors indicated, it will maintain its versatile nature, as it will be possible to organize performing arts, conferences, children's gatherings, school social events, and dinner shows, among other venues, for various types of auditoriums.
The property has hosted great performers like Monica Naranjo, Placido Domingo, Emmanuel, Natalia Jimenez, Pimpinela, Jesse & Joy, Kevin Kaarl, Siddhartha, Lupita D'alessio, La Cotorrisa, Kanny Garcia, Raphael, Luli Pampin, Picus, Mercury, Jns and Julieta Venegas, among others.
For 2025, the Coca-Cola Auditorium plans to kick off its grand opening with artists such as Lagos, Mónica Naranjo, Ángeles Negros, Jorge Lozano, and Kanny García, renowned voices and figures in the entertainment world, whose schedule of activities will soon be announced.
They emphasized that the auditorium will also be a bastion of the performing arts, capable of hosting symphony and chamber orchestras, opera and ballet companies, and dance performances of national and international quality, a precedent for which has already been achieved with the presentation of "Swan Lake" with the Russian State Ballet.
It will also maintain its versatility as a venue and forum for keynote addresses by opinion leaders, specialists, and academics on a wide variety of topics of public interest.
The auditorium has seating for 2,777 people, plus an additional 192 in suites and boxes. It can also accommodate 3,800 people standing, as it has retractable seating sections for events requiring this.
The venue features seven seating sections, plus suites (semi-private spaces with seating for up to 16 people and restroom facilities) and four side boxes with partial views of the stage and seating for up to 10 people.
Each level features large lobbies with a food and beverage bar and restroom facilities (41 women's restrooms and 30 men's restrooms).
There is an elevator for people with disabilities, seniors, and for access to suites.
It has five dressing rooms—three individual and two shared—each with a bathroom and shower, as well as a green room where artists can meet with the press and fans. There's also a production office with a bathroom and shower.
