Bepensa Dominicana celebrated its first 15 years by reviewing its achievements in the country, where it has operated since 2006 as a bottling partner of the Coca-Cola Company, leading the non-alcoholic beverage market.
During the anniversary commemoration, Fernando del Río, the organization's general manager, expressed satisfaction and pride in the achievements and thanked the employees and management, whom he described as a fundamental pillar of the company's success.
He also recognized the Dominican Republic's climate of political, economic, and legal stability, which is why Bepensa chose it as its first investment destination outside of Mexico.
"From 2006 to the present, we have developed significantly as a local company and have grown significantly, driven by constant work, confidence in this market, and a commitment to the government and the community to continue investing in the country.", Mr. Del Río expressed to the company's collaborators and executives.
The company has also won two of the Coca-Cola Company's most important awards: the Be-Perfect and Be-Loved awards, in recognition of the quality of its operations as a bottling partner in Latin America and the Caribbean, and the growing love for Coca-Cola Company brands in the Dominican market.
Another achievement of Bepensa Dominicana is having been recognized by the organization Great Place to Work, as one of the 25 best companies to work for in the Caribbean. It also received the Platinum Gender Equality Seal, being the first company in the country's industrial sector to achieve this recognition, which is awarded by the UNDP and the Ministry of Women.
“Today, we are proud to lead a leading company in its category, through which we have made significant contributions to the country's business and industrial sectors through our business, as well as serving more than 60,000 customers nationwide through 18 distribution centers, generating more than 2,350 direct jobs and a platform to support society.”, said the senior executive.
With the support of the Bepensa Foundation, projects have been implemented to benefit the communities surrounding the production plant, as well as other programs focused on education and the environment.
