The Made in Yucatán initiative emerged from Canacintra Yucatan as a catalyst whose objective is to promote Yucatecan businesses by taking advantage of the excellent international reputation our state enjoys today as a benchmark for excellent quality in raw materials, labor, ingenuity, and products.
The mission was to create a distinctive mark that would distinguish Yucatecan products from the rest, thus promoting local consumption and providing added value. As part of this initiative, business meetings have been held with large multinational corporations to promote Yucatecan production and elevate it to the next level.
Today, more than 90 Yucatecan companies have joined a business chamber to obtain the Made in Yucatán seal. They now promote their products with a quality guarantee that makes them preferable among consumers.
