Mercado Magazine's annual edition of the country's Most Admired Companies is a collector's item. The study ranks 54 business activities and identifies the companies with the greatest recognition for each.
In addition, the study includes a ranking of the most prestigious companies across all sectors, as well as the foreign firms that garner the highest levels of admiration.
Another variant of the study is the classification of companies according to each of the eight predefined criteria: innovation, economic strength, management capacity, corporate social responsibility, employee training, customer service, technology, and product or service quality.
This year, the Most Admired Companies Study has registered six new leaders, across a wide range of economic activity categories.
The sector with the largest number of activities is manufacturing and importing. Among the long-standing leaders that maintain their privileged positions in this ranking is Bepensa, a soft drink company.
Bepensa earned first place in the 2020 Ranking of the Most Admired Companies in the Soft Drink Producers category, with a 76.4% preference.
Bepensa is a Mexican company with a Dominican soul, climbing five places in the 2020 Ranking of the Most Admired Companies, from 9th to 4th compared to 2019, with a 14.8% preference in the category of Foreign Companies with a presence in the Dominican Republic.
