Bepensa Dominicana was honored at the 6th edition of the P+M Cleaner Production Awards for implementing a project to reduce water consumption in its production processes.
This is a great achievement for us as it recognizes Bepensa's commitment as a Socially Sustainable and Responsible Company thanks to our optimal use of natural resources.
The P+M Award is organized by the Ministry of the Environment and is open to companies that have developed improvement projects focused on optimizing natural resources and reducing environmental impact through proper waste management related to water, energy, recycling, and environmental management systems.
Fifty-two companies participated in the awards ceremony, and Bepensa received the highest award in the Water category, "Water Excellence," thanks to the results obtained from the implementation of the project to reduce water consumption in the production process.
