Bepensa Dominicana is recognized for its commitment to environmental protection and its goal of being a sustainable company. This recognition is consistently acknowledged by major corporations, and yesterday, December 8th, Bepensa Dominicana was recognized once again.
A necessary implementation
Just days before the end of the year, Bepensa Dominicana was awarded the 6th edition of the P+M (cleaner production) awards, which recognize the efforts of companies to reduce the consumption of natural resources for the production of their products.
It's important to understand that cleaner production is primarily defined by the consistent application of preventive environmental strategies. All of this involves production processes, products, and services to increase overall efficiency and reduce risks to humans and the environment.
An important recognition
The awards are organized by the Ministry of the Environment and are open to all companies that have developed improvement projects focused on optimizing natural resources and thereby reducing environmental impact through waste management, including water, energy, recycling, and Environmental Management Systems.
Taking these types of actions is important to motivate companies to continue innovating their production processes and, with their help, reduce pollution in our cities and, little by little, across the planet.
The best among the greats
A total of 52 companies participated in this year's P+M Awards, each presenting its own preventive environmental strategy. Among them, Bepensa Dominicana stood out and was recognized as the best, receiving the highest award in the water category, "Water Excellence," thanks to its project "Reducing Water Consumption in Production Processes." This project has yielded gratifying results since its implementation began.
