At a major delivery ceremony held recently, Bepensa reaffirmed the company's commitment to providing a complete portfolio of beverages produced under international quality standards.
At the event, Eng. Silvino Molina, Vice President of Supply Chain at Bepensa Dominicana, stated that “the certifications received are Quality (ISO 9001) referring to the quality of products and services we offer to our customers and consumers, Food Safety (FSSC 22000) referring to guaranteeing the health of our customers and consumers when purchasing and consuming our products, Occupational Health and Safety (OHSAS 18001) referring to guaranteeing the safety of our facilities to ensure the health and safety of our employees, and Environmental Management (ISO 14001) referring to the care of the environment in which we operate.”
These four certifications were granted by the prestigious international certification company SGS after having met the strict functionality controls required by the four international standards.
In sharing the news, Engineer Silvino Molina also expressed that for the Bepensa Dominicana family, this important achievement represents not only the company's commitment to its customers and consumers, but also its commitment to the country to continue operating under international quality standards as an important guarantee of efficiency in the beverage manufacturing process.
The event, held at the Taboo Bamboo restaurant, was attended by Mr. Fernando Ponce, Director of Bepensa Bebidas; Mr. Win Van Stream, General Manager of SGS; Mr. Oscar Moreno, Director of Quality at The Coca-Cola Company Latin Center; and Mr. Ignacio Ponce, Director of Corporate Affairs for the Bepensa Group.
