For the fourth consecutive year, Bepensa Dominicana received the Great Place to Work (GPTW) certification in the Central America and Caribbean region for implementing initiatives to support its leaders and improve employee job satisfaction, as well as for its talent retention and gender equity strategies.
The international evaluation firm Great Place to Work Institute considered the lines of action that frame the company's work, such as creating a safe and healthy workplace; promoting an inclusive and stimulating environment; attracting, developing, and maintaining talent; and evaluating and rewarding its employees. GPTW considered employee integration, which contributes value to the organization's pillars: people, customers, workplace safety, financial discipline, and corporate social responsibility.
Regarding obtaining this important endorsement, Juan Amell, Director of Corporate Affairs at Bepensa Dominicana, emphasized that "Bepensa's leadership team is immersed in the organization's talent management cycle, which is part of its sustainable development, key to its vision for the future, and a shared responsibility for all."
"The company has maintained its commitment to maintaining a work environment where equal opportunities prevail for all employees, especially in a sector that has traditionally been dominated by men," added the executive of the company, which currently has 2,650 jobs.
The certification was presented to Jonathan Nouel, Director of Human Development at Bepensa Dominicana, by Lesslie de Davidovich, Regional General Manager of the Great Place to Work Institute for Central America & the Caribbean. Nouel stated that "internally, we strive to achieve genuine leadership grounded in the organization's mission, vision, and values, developing the leadership competencies defined by each of our members."
