For the aforementioned reasons, Bepensa, Dominican Republic, was awarded the Platinum Equaling Dominican Republic Seal last Thursday, October 21, 2021, in Santo Domingo.
Recognized by the greats
The Platinum Equaling RD Seal is a recognition granted by the Ministry of Women and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). This award recognizes all companies that promote gender equality within their organizational structure, as Bepensa does every day.
Also during the ceremony, it was announced that Bepensa Dominicana fully complies with the requirements of NORDOM 775 for gender equality. The company has held this certification since 2018 and has been renewed annually following audits by the Dominican Institute of Quality (Indocal).
We will continue working
Juan Amell, Director of Public Affairs at Bepensa Dominicana, expressed his gratitude to everyone and said that this type of recognition motivates the company to continue implementing good labor practices for the benefit of society in the Dominican Republic.
It's time for a positive change, and Bepensa will continue to open doors to Dominican women so they can achieve better technical and professional development in companies.

The Ministry of Women and UNDP believe that significant progress has been made in developing a comprehensive management system for mainstreaming gender equality.
