This distinction seeks to promote a breastfeeding-friendly environment in the workplace and protect the first 1,000 days of life for the daughters and sons of mothers in Yucatán.
Breastfeeding-friendly companies like Bepensa seek to raise awareness and engage employees about the importance and benefits of breastfeeding, as well as their needs during this period. This also helps prevent discrimination against mothers and reinforces the importance of breastfeeding when women return to work after maternity leave.
Since 2016, Bepensa, as a Socially Responsible Company, has been committed to providing quality, warm, and adequate spaces that allow its employees to fully exercise their right to breastfeed at its main work centers.
Having adequate breastfeeding spaces in the workplace has significant benefits, not only for mothers and their children, but also for companies committed to this issue, as it strengthens a positive and inclusive organizational culture.
We promote the culture of breastfeeding and the right of mothers to safe and optimal spaces for breastfeeding. Therefore, we have specially designed rooms for this purpose in our workplaces in Mexico and the Dominican Republic.
