Bepensa was recognized in the 2020 Catalog of Promising Practices

The National Council of Private Enterprise (Conep) and the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) presented the 15 companies that will be included in the first edition of the 2020 Catalog of Promising Practices.

According to Conep, this is an initiative that recognizes and systematizes the practices with the greatest economic, social, and environmental impact in the Dominican Republic that companies have responsibly implemented to promote sustainable development in their business models and positively impact their communities.

Among the objectives of this Catalog is to visualize the current situation with a sense of urgency to deploy business sector initiatives based on humanity, solidarity, commitment, and social responsibility, thus generating a crusade for health and life.

Bepensa was recognized for its "Water for the Future: Returning Water, Protecting Nature" initiative, which it is developing in the Dominican Republic with The Coca-Cola Company, thus contributing to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the fulfillment of the 2030 Agenda.

The private sector plays an important role as an engine of economic growth and job creation, providing goods and services, generating tax revenue to finance essential social and economic infrastructure, developing innovative solutions, and being a central player in addressing climate change.

At Bepensa, we are committed to promoting and fostering socially responsible business management, with sustainable and resilient business models that foster public-private partnerships and partnerships with social stakeholders, enabling us to achieve well-being in the communities where we operate, in Mexico and around the world.
