With the goal of leveraging public spaces and promoting the improvement of areas that foster healthy coexistence, the City Council, through its La Pila branch, in coordination with local and national businesses, is promoting the "Build Your Park" project, which will be developed with an investment of one million pesos.
The most interesting aspect of this initiative is that the park was built in a single day with the participation of 250 volunteers who joined forces to deliver these public areas to the community of the La Pila district.
The mayor of San Luis Potosí, Xavier Nava Palacios, expressed his gratitude for the support provided by members of the private sector, who, through coordinated efforts with municipal authorities, were able to promote this major project.
He emphasized that partnerships with all social sectors allow for effective synergy, enabling the development of initiatives that benefit the population, such as the launch of the "Arroyo Hondo La Pila Park," which will benefit people of all ages with facilities such as a soccer field, a basketball court, a children's playground, a social area, and multiple exercise equipment.
