On August 10th, I buy, the Corporate Reputation Business Monitor, a benchmark in Spain, Portugal, and Latin America and responsible for evaluating the reputation of companies since 2000, announced, for the first time, the Merco Companies and Leaders Dominican Republic 2023 ranking, among which Bepensa stood out in various categories.
According to the study's results, the Coca-Cola bottling company ranked eighth among the 10 companies with the best corporate reputation, along with other organizations such as Grupo Popular, Cervecería Nacional Dominicana, Casa Brugal, and Nestlé. In the ranking of the most responsible companies in terms of ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance), Bepensa ranked fourth out of 100 audited companies. Finally, the Mexican company ranked third among the companies with the greatest environmental responsibility.
These results are the result of an exhaustive analysis conducted by Merco, which included surveys of company executives, business journalists, financial analysts, consumer association representatives, union representatives, NGO representatives, government officials, digital media outlets, as well as university researchers and professors.
Merco's monitoring and methodology for preparing the ranking have been subject to an independent external review by the British auditing firm KPMG International Ltd.
