Last November, the Mérida City Council launched the Campaign to Eliminate Violence against Women as part of public policies aimed at strengthening a culture of gender equality and protecting women's rights through the Municipal Women's Institute.
Bepensa, as a Socially Responsible Company, joins this campaign initiative as the official sponsor of the various activities that will take place, such as a mega self-defense class held on Sunday the 25th at the Remate de Paseo Montejo.
This campaign will use proactive messaging based on women's rights to raise awareness about the types of violence that occur in society and eradicate them.
Under the slogan "Stopping violence is in everyone's hands," the community is invited to unite for a violence-free city where equality and women's rights are respected.
