Bepensa continues its commitment to community well-being, integrating and strengthening the social fabric through the restoration of public spaces.
Bepensa, the Coca-Cola Foundation, along with the Bepensa Foundation, the City Council of Motul, Yucatán, and Escuelas Sustentables AC, held the inauguration of the main park in Ucí, located in the municipality of Motul, this Monday, April 1st.
For Bepensa, it is a pleasure to participate, support, and celebrate the fact that Ucí now has a space for healthy coexistence, which is a key factor for the development and well-being of Yucatecan families.
Bepensa, as part of the Mexican Coca-Cola Industry, has actively joined this major project of the Coca-Cola Foundation and Sustainable Schools through its foundation. Since the project's inception a couple of years ago, we have rehabilitated 45 parks in the Yucatán Peninsula, thereby promoting social, individual, and community well-being by providing infrastructure and tools to ensure that physical activity becomes part of a healthy lifestyle for the residents of our state, and Mexico in general.
On this occasion, we had the opportunity to rehabilitate Ucí Park, which now has:
Children's games
Exercisers for physical activation
Urban furniture
Solar luminaires
This park will join several others that Bepensa plans to improve and activate on the Yucatán Peninsula in 2019, adding to the more than 600 installations of the "Live Your Park" program that have been implemented across the country.
We invite everyone in society to promote the care of these public spaces to keep them in optimal condition and thus provide well-being to all who live and visit Ucí.
This is a very important project for us as a Socially Responsible Company, with which we are reaffirming our commitment to social well-being by strengthening and integrating healthy public spaces that positively impact the communities where we operate. We are confident that, in this way, we are contributing to strengthening Mexico's social fabric.
