Bepensa joins the program

Bepensa, through its automotive division, AMSA, joined the "Adopt a Park" program, enthusiastically and committed to rehabilitating the recreational park located in the Santa Lucía neighborhood of Campeche. Bepensa Bebidas, part of the Mexican Coca-Cola Industry, also joined this initiative with approximately 20 employees who participated as volunteers.

This recreational space, located along 16th Street at the intersection with Álvaro Obregón Avenue in the aforementioned traditional neighborhood, has received cleaning, flowerbed reorganization, reforestation, and attention to the children's playground equipment. Benches and common areas have also been painted.

Just over 60 Bepensa volunteers began collecting trash and performing some masonry work early in the morning, paving the way for the new ornamental plants to be planted. They invited the entire community to join in this project to ensure their proper care and preservation.

“Bepensa is pleased to be able to participate, support, and celebrate the fact that Campeche now has another park where people can enjoy healthy living, which is a key factor for the development and well-being of Campeche families,” commented the AMSA manager, after joining the park's renovation work.

In addition to this activity, Bepensa has carried out cleanups of bodies of water, such as the Bay of Campeche, reforestation projects, and installed parks for the benefit of the community. In each of these activities, the entire community is encouraged to take care of these public spaces to keep them in optimal condition and thus provide well-being to visitors and residents.

At the conclusion of the cleanup activities, the park's adoption certificate was signed by AMSA Manager Carlos Andrés Díaz Ayala, with Erika Ceballos, from Public Relations, and Antonio Loeza as witnesses, thus formalizing the care that Bepensa, through AMSA, provides to this common space.

“For Bepensa, as a Socially Responsible Company, this is a very important project, which reaffirms its commitment to social well-being and to strengthening and integrating healthy public spaces that positively impact the lives of families in Campeche, thus contributing to a better Mexico for all,” they concluded.
