With a view to developing plans that impact the rational use of water in the Dominican Republic, Felipe Antonio Suberví, director of the Santo Domingo Water and Sewer Corporation (CAASD), recently visited the Bepensa Dominicana facilities to learn about the water conservation model we have implemented.
During his tour, the official praised the implemented system and highlighted the importance of preserving and properly using water, both in the public and private sectors.
"We, as the institution responsible for water supply in Greater Santo Domingo, are committed to ensuring that this important natural resource is utilized in the best possible way, and to that end, we are always available to provide support to businesses and the general public who need our advice on managing this precious liquid," he stated.
For his part, Fernando del Río, General Manager of Bepensa Dominicana, emphasized that the company is interested in generating synergies with other key stakeholders that contribute to improving collective well-being, such as water conservation.
“These types of public-private partnerships are extremely important, especially when they are undertaken to preserve a precious resource like water. We thank Mr. Suberví for his approach and his willingness to join forces and continue working for the common good of the nation,” added Del Río.
For her part, Olga Guerrero, Coca-Cola's Manager of Public Affairs, Communications and Sustainability for the Caribbean, expressed that we share a clear commitment to working on initiatives that support the preservation of national resources, and specifically, water conservation and conservation, which is one of our cross-cutting projects and governs our sustainable processes.
