Bepensa and PetStar participate in the 6th Environmental Expo Forum 2022

With the goal of raising awareness about the importance of environmental conservation and climate change, the sixth edition of the Environmental Expo Forum was held from May 27 to 29 in the Ek Balam hall of the Yucatán Siglo XXI Convention Center.

The event, organized by the National Chamber of Commerce, Services and Tourism (Canaco Servytur) in Mérida, in coordination with the State Government's Secretariat of Sustainable Development (SDS) and other organizations, featured 100 booths of local, national, and international exhibitors showcasing trends in sustainable products and services.

This environmental exhibition allowed the general public to learn about the latest developments that local, national, and international companies have to offer to homes and businesses in this sector. It also opened the door for educational and civic institutions to showcase the actions they are taking to build and contribute responsibly to the conservation of natural resources.

Bepensa had a booth at this event, as well as important talks on climate change mitigation actions and conservation strategies in the business sector by Bepensa's Corporate Affairs Manager, Agustín Menendez Reyes, and Carlos Mendieta Zerón, President of the Global Compact Mexico and Director of Sustainability at Petstar.

Since its first edition, the Environmental Expo Forum has encouraged companies to transition to clean energy.

Every day, more and more private sector members like Bepensa, as well as companies, institutions, and civil society organizations, are taking on the challenge of sustainability in order to make the planet a better place for everyone.

At Bepensa, we will continue to share new ways to conserve the environment and build synergy with key stakeholders to continue the fight against climate change.
