Coca-Cola and Jack Daniel's launch the ready-to-drink cocktail in Mexico

Today, Mexico becomes the first country in the world to launch the Jack Daniel's and Coca-Cola ready-to-drink cocktail, made with Jack Daniel's Tennessee Whiskey and Coca-Cola and inspired by the classic bar cocktail recognized around the world.

Earlier this year, Jack Daniel's and Coca-Cola announced they would be teaming up to offer consumers a beverage inspired by one of the world's most popular bar calls—a cocktail ordered with specific brands—in a convenient, ready-to-drink format. The first product resulting from this collaboration between the two iconic American brands arrives in Mexico in November and will expand to other global markets, including North America and Europe, throughout 2023.

“We are excited to be the first country to bring the iconic Jack Daniel's & Coca-Cola cocktail to consumers in a ready-to-drink format.”, said Francisco Baeza, vice president and general manager of Brown-Forman Mexico. “While they have long been made at home and in bars around the world, today we officially introduce the leading premium branded spirit and premium branded carbonated beverage in a single, portable can.”

“This is an exciting day for both of our brands. As we develop our beverage portfolio, our focus remains on meeting consumer needs.”, said Roberto Mercadé, President of Coca-Cola Mexico. “Jack Daniel's and Coca-Cola are iconic brands that consumers have been aligning for years. We look forward to seeing our two brands thrive together, reaching new fans through this collaboration.”

The can and packaging, which feature two of the world's most recognized and valuable brands, "Coca-Cola" and "Jack Daniel's," will include clear symbols indicating that the beverage should be enjoyed responsibly and only by consumers of legal drinking age. Jack Daniel's and Coca-Cola ready-to-drink will adhere to the responsible marketing practices of Brown-Forman and Coca-Cola.

The ABV (alcohol by volume) will vary by market. A sugar-free version of the beverage will also be available. The global launch took place in Cancún, the territory of Bepensa, a certified bottler of The Coca-Cola Company.

At Bepensa, as part of the Mexican Coca-Cola Industry, we are proud to have hosted this great celebration.
