At Bepensa, we are deeply committed to resource conservation, which is why we have implemented a circular economy model through recycling that extends the useful life of resources.
The way we recycle is called a circular economy, because once we recover a container, regardless of the brand, we recycle it and turn it into another container that can be recycled again, thus creating a continuous cycle, which prevents the use of new plastic.
Through these steps, we manage food-grade PET waste, especially beverage bottles, giving the materials a much longer lifespan, thus contributing to environmental conservation and preventing the overexploitation of resources.
1: We recover packaging through programs like ReQPET and other partner initiatives.
2: We catalogue and dispose of waste for recycling in collection centers.
3: We take them to be recycled at plants like PetStar, the largest food-grade PET recycling plant in the world, part of the Mexican Coca-Cola Industry to which Bepensa belongs.
4: We use recycled resin to make new sustainable packaging, which can then be recycled to create new packaging and continue the cycle.
All the waste we generate that isn't recycled properly ends up in different places and can cause serious pollution problems. Most of the waste that ends up in the ocean comes from large cities. Even if we take it out of our homes and can't see it anymore, it doesn't disappear, and it's all our responsibility to ensure it's returned to its cycle.
Actions like these demonstrate Bepensa's genuine interest in collaborating with sustainability, environmental care, and conservation initiatives in the communities and societies where it operates.
