The International Volunteer Day was decreed by the General Assembly of the United Nations in 1985. Since then, governments, the United Nations system, and civil society organizations have successfully joined forces with volunteers around the world to celebrate this day on December 5.
Bepensa Corporate Volunteer Program
Bepensa Foundation It is the institution responsible for managing, consolidating and implementing the volunteer activities in which the Group's collaborators participate to support allied institutions that require it or with which we have alliances.
We are in constant communication with the communities where we operate to understand their needs and offer targeted support to each one, as well as to establish collaborative relationships and enhance the well-being of our members.
With volunteers, #UnitedWeCanDoIt
In recent months, as the COVID-19 pandemic raged across the globe, volunteers have been on the front lines of the response, in the healthcare, community, and social fields, helping to provide medical care, shopping for vulnerable neighbors, and calling elderly people living alone.
We want to thank volunteers around the world and also highlight the difficulties and needs volunteers are facing during the pandemic. We must recognize volunteer actions and showcase the impact of volunteering during the COVID-19 crisis.
