World Day of Families

To celebrate World Day of Families, we want to share ideas for spending these days at home with sustainable options for family fun.

Create art by recycling

A fun way to spend time with the family is to use leftovers and obsolete objects to create artistic crafts, useful objects, and decorative pieces.

These activities have proven effective in treating anxiety. Besides being fun, they release neurotransmitters that help create a sense of satisfaction and thus reduce the stress that quarantine can cause, sparking creativity in both children and adults, and allowing for a pleasant family moment.

Get active and dance

Bored of watching TV shows? It's time to invite the whole family to get off the couch, put on your favorite music, and shake things up a bit. Music is an important ally in improving mood, just as exercise has been proven to be the healthiest remedy for boredom and idleness. Thanks to the release of endorphins and oxygenation of the blood, dancing is an excellent cardiovascular exercise to do as a family at home.

Family cooking

A healthy way to spend family time together is to cook together, assigning simple and safe tasks to the little ones and sharing the work among everyone, promoting a culture of inclusion and bringing the family together. Include healthy options on the menu, as well as several servings of vegetables. Nuts are rich in protein, filling, and delicious as a snack.

At Bepensa, we want to share the joy of being with family, and if you have to stay home, enjoy these moments with your loved ones. Often, due to the hectic routines many of us live, we don't take the quality time to enjoy their company. Let's take a break from this contingency and take advantage of it to reconnect in the living room or kitchen with them, with those we live with, with our family.
