Together we sent 12 tons of aid to Acapulco

On November 17, 12 tons of humanitarian aid were shipped to support families affected by Hurricane Otis in Acapulco, Guerrero.

Thanks to the support of society, 200 volunteers as well as the Mérida Nos Une Network of Mérida City Council y la Red Cross Yucatan Delegation, we managed to collect and assemble 925 food kits, 240 liters of oil, 622 packages of toilet paper, 118 baby diapers, and 650 sanitary napkins. Bepensa through Bepensa Foundation provided forklifts, pallets and transportation from Mérida to Acapulco, a contribution valued at 150 thousand pesos.

We appreciate the synergy and support of Itzaes Rotary Club, al DIF Yucatán, to the Anáhuac Mayab University already the Model University, which provided its facilities for assembling kits to be sent by Bepensa transport to the Acapulco Red Cross for distribution among the most affected population.

This is a solidarity effort that brings together society, the private sector, charities, and the government, working together as a team to support those at risk most in need.

At Bepensa and the Bepensa Foundation, we are proud to be able to make a positive impact and participate in this effort for the common good.
