As part of International Coastal Cleanup Day, the Bepensa Foundation has participated annually since 2019 with a coastal cleanup day, in which Bepensa volunteers join forces to recover waste from beaches, mangroves, and bodies of water. This activity has grown to such an extent that up to 500 collaborators have gathered in a single day in locations such as Cancún, Playa del Carmen, Seybaplaya, Campeche, Chuburná, Telchac, Progreso, Río Lagartos, and Sisal.

The collaborators are given one day to travel to the designated location and are provided with gloves, sleeping bags, sunscreen, insect repellent, hats, t-shirts, food, and hydration. They are then distributed over an area of several kilometers to collect all types of waste, from cans and containers to tires and diapers.
The respective City Council always cooperates by removing the collected waste, supporting safety measures, and granting the necessary permits.
As the saying goes, "It's not my trash, but it is my planet." By organizing these types of activities, the Bepensa Foundation contributes to environmental conservation and sustainability.
