Reforestation

Reforestation in our daily lives is essential for the survival of humans and other living beings; given the large number of fires, indiscriminate tree felling, and other accidental or man-made accidents, the green mass of our planet is diminishing.

The main importance of reforestation is to ensure that the planet has sufficient oxygen to sustain its living beings. It is also vital because it helps reduce the consequences of the so-called "greenhouse effect," as well as conserve water and reduce soil erosion.

At the Bepensa Foundation, we are aware of the importance of trees, and that is why we hold various reforestation campaigns year after year, in partnership with the city councils of the cities where Bepensa operates, with several charitable companies, or through our Corporate Volunteering program.

Reforestation days are an event with two objectives: the first is to plant new trees in areas where they are needed, and the second is to make participants aware of the importance and care that trees require to survive and thrive.
