The "We Are Many" initiative arrives in the Dominican Republic

We recently launched "We Are Many" in the Dominican Republic, a campaign focused on demonstrating our commitment to promoting actions to achieve major changes in three key areas: water conservation and preservation, strengthening a recycling culture to achieve a World Without Waste, and economic empowerment.

This campaign is part of the initiatives the Company has developed in the region, aiming to refresh the world and make a difference, thereby generating a positive impact on the communities in which it operates.

“Given the challenges our communities face in terms of water, recycling, and economic empowerment, we know there is no single solution,” said Ángela Zuluaga, Vice President of Public Affairs, Communications, and Sustainability for Coca-Cola Latin America. “At Coca-Cola, we are committed to working together. This has led us to create and maintain alliances with key partners, with whom we have developed projects that significantly impact the communities in the region. We know that change and difference are achieved together and with coordinated and consistent actions.”

Through "We Are Many," we seek to raise awareness about the social challenges facing Latin America, as well as the joint actions, projects, and initiatives that are leading the region toward sustainability and a better shared future.

These goals are realized in the Dominican Republic through projects such as: Beach cleanups with the Mares Circulares platform, our participation in various waste collection initiatives such as Recolectiva, which aims to guarantee the storage, collection, transportation, and recovery of plastic bottles through NUVI points, and our support for our clients' own initiatives such as Grupo Ramos' Puntos R. In addition to our training program, Emprendamos Juntos (Let's Start Together), carried out in partnership with the Ministry of Industry and Commerce, which seeks to drive the transformation of the small business sector in the Dominican Republic, training grocery store owners and managers to strengthen their businesses and help improve the quality of life for themselves and their families.

Our purpose is to refresh the world and make a difference in the communities where we operate. Therefore, Coca-Cola and our partners are making multiple efforts throughout the region to address the main challenges we face. There are many of us who want to make a change and seek a better future. Given this, "We Are Many" was born because we realized that, on this path to making a difference, we are not alone. We are convinced that together we make a difference and together we can make today taste better than yesterday.

At Bepensa, we expand our activities to make a positive impact in the communities where we operate.
