New mural "Love Multiplies" in Cancún, Quintana Roo

For Bepensa and all of us who are part of the Mexican Coca-Cola Industry (IMCC) we think of love as the driving force that unites, transforms, and makes us better people. Through the #ElAmorMultiplica initiative, we inaugurated a new mural in Cancún by artist Miguel Castillo.

The work, titled "Nature, Identity, and Unity," seeks to represent the essence of the city and the spirit of its people through its flora and fauna.

Did you know?

Our commitment to positively impacting the communities in which we operate and their surroundings has been present for over 95 years in Mexico; this year, we seek to strengthen our ties with these communities through artistic initiatives and spaces that serve as a source of inspiration and community identity to transform the places where we live, such as community murals.

In these urban artworks, which we create with local artists, we seek to capture the identity of communities and inspire people to be agents of change in their communities, aligned with our four pillars.

In Mexico, six out of ten small shops are run by women. Since 2012, at IMCC, through the Coca-Cola Foundation, we have trained more than 180,000 women to strengthen their skills and grow their businesses. In turn, we currently generate more than 100,000 direct jobs and 1.3 million indirect jobs, positively impacting the lives of thousands of Mexican families.

We have set a goal of promoting access to clean water for more than one million Mexicans by 2030. Our combined efforts to achieve this include the design and development of projects that, in addition to bringing clean water to communities across the country, are accompanied by productive projects such as backyard and fruit gardens. To date, we have developed 1,200 gardens with the help of the Coca-Cola Mexico Foundation.

On our path to achieving #WorldWithoutWaste, we continue to multiply our efforts to recover and recycle the equivalent of 100% of the packaging we put on the market by 2030, achieving a circular economy in which each package has more than one useful life. Together we are Coca-Cola, and with you, love multiplies!
