From September 20 to 25, the Second State Week of Action for the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), with the aim of forming and strengthening strategic alliances between governments, civil society organizations, businesses, and citizens to achieve the goals of the 2030 Agenda.
Within the framework of this important event, Mr. Agustín R. Menéndez Reyes, Corporate Affairs Manager at Bepensa, participated in the 2nd University Forum: Circular and Solidarity Economy, which reinforced the importance we all play in society in integrating sustainable habits into our daily lives.
Topics were also discussed regarding how companies should strive to provide products and services that offer environmental and social value. In this regard, Agustín highlighted the importance of the circularity of Bepensa's packaging, specifically the blue Agua Cristal bottle, which is made from 100% recycled and recyclable resin.
At Bepensa, as part of our actions aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals, we are investing in the planet, recovering 10 out of every 10 containers we place on the market by creating PET waste collection infrastructure. We also invest in recyclability, creating reusable containers, thereby reducing our carbon footprint.
Through our participation in these events, we are fostering alliances to work together for the world we all desire.
