When we adopt a more active and healthy lifestyle, we contribute to our overall well-being, as it improves our quality of life and promotes our mental health, thus creating a healthier and happier society.
At Bepensa and the Mexican Coca-Cola Industry, we understand this, which is why we want to share our genuine commitment and conviction to promoting programs like "Ponte al 100," developed by the Movimiento es Salud Foundation. We are convinced that by supporting these types of programs, we are actively participating in the solution for healthcare and cardiovascular disease prevention, thus contributing to the overall well-being of Mexican families.
As we know, these types of diseases are caused by several factors, such as lack of physical activity, a person's genetic makeup, habits, and diet, among others. Based on this, and committed to promoting healthy lifestyles and fostering the development of children and young people by incorporating exercise habits to improve their quality of life, Bepensa and Fundación Movimiento es Salud AC signed a collaboration agreement with the State Secretariat of Education (SEDUC) of the state of Campeche.
This program will benefit 30 schools in the initial phase, receiving training on the "Ponte al 100" program, which is being implemented in 32 states across the country, serving more than 4,000 elementary school students. In addition to supporting these types of programs, we also work with the Campeche State Education Secretariat, providing educational tools such as the Nutrikit® to provide parents with basic nutrition knowledge and healthy habits, enabling them to implement these tools in a simple and practical way at home when planning their children's daily meals.
All of this is done in addition to Bepensa's ongoing programs such as "Get Active in Your Park," which is open to the general public and provides free dance classes, exercise programs, and nutritional guidance to all attendees.
This is a very important project for us at Bepensa as part of the Coca-Cola Mexican Industry, and a commitment to the comprehensive well-being of communities. We are confident that actively working on comprehensive initiatives that invest in the education of Mexicans to help promote healthy lifestyles ultimately contributes to the comprehensive well-being of our society.
