Dominican Republic President Danilo Medina attended the launch of Bepensa Dominicana's new state-of-the-art beverage production line today.
This marks the start of a new filling and bottling line equipped with cutting-edge technology and high efficiency, capable of producing 50,000 bottles per hour in various formats. The scale of this operation will exponentially increase production capacity and, consequently, generate a significant production chain.
This introduction demonstrates Bepensa's commitment to continuing to contribute to the development of the Dominican industry and continuing the path it has taken for 12 years.
The president of the Coca-Cola Company's Latin America Central Business Unit highlighted that Bepensa Dominicana is a significant contributor, with contributions equivalent to approximately 0.3% of the total Gross Domestic Product, generating more than 17,000 direct and indirect jobs, equivalent to 0.4% of the country's total employment.
Bepensa Dominicana is embarking on a new chapter in its industrial development journey, which will be crucial to strengthening the Dominican Republic's competitiveness and setting a benchmark for best practices in the country.
