In this context, Bepensa Dominicana has been recognized by the Center for Industrial Development and Competitiveness (ProIndustria) with two important awards within the Recognition of Industrial Manufacturing Innovation, in the categories of Process Innovation and Women-Led Industries.
These recognitions reflect the private sector's commitment to building a more prosperous and inclusive country, where innovation and sustainability play a key role. At Bepensa Dominicana, as the local bottling partner of The Coca-Cola Company, this commitment translates into ongoing investment in cutting-edge technology and the implementation of initiatives that promote gender equality and the country's economic development.

In line with its sustainability philosophy, Bepensa inaugurated a new $20 million production line this year, equipped with advanced technology that improves efficiency and reduces plastic use. Furthermore, for 2024, the company continues to expand its commitment to the country, announcing new investments totaling more than $40 million, including another new water production line and other industrial innovations, as part of its comprehensive environmental, social, and governance (ESG) strategy.
This ESG strategy adds value to the industry, aligning with sustainable development goals, diversifying operations, and responsibly improving processes. Through efficient management of resources such as water and waste, and by supporting local entrepreneurship and inclusion, Bepensa contributes to building a more just and prosperous environment for all.

This is the second edition of the Recognition of Industrial Manufacturing Innovation, a ProIndustria initiative that seeks to boost the competitiveness and growth of the national industry by promoting innovation as a central axis of its development.
