2nd Graduation of “Let’s Start Together with Coca-Cola”

"Let's Start Together with Coca-Cola" trains small grocery and coffee shop owners to strengthen their businesses and contribute to the country's economic development.

Thousands of microentrepreneurs from grocery stores and cafes have been trained and had the honor of receiving a graduation certificate certifying them as graduates of the "Let's Start Together" program.

He Ministry of Industry, Commerce and MSMEs and the Coca-Cola System, through this joint initiative, support and promote entrepreneurship by training grocery store owners, ensuring that this important sector of our country achieves development based on capacity building, business development, job creation, and improved quality of life.

The program's general content includes an introduction for entrepreneurs, microentrepreneurs, and community leaders; grocery store management; financial health; business development and promotions; hygiene and biosafety; digital skills; social and environmental sustainability; and innovation.

The training program is currently benefiting thousands of grocery store owners in Greater Santo Domingo and the provinces of Santiago, La Altagracia, La Romana, and Duarte, as well as the municipality of Bonao. The program has recently been expanded to the provinces of Puerto Plata and San Cristóbal, and to the municipalities of Mao and Nagua.

This program seeks to support the development of entrepreneurs who, through their grocery stores and food businesses, boost the economy and strengthen the social fabric of each Dominican neighborhood.

We celebrated the second graduation of the "Let's Start Together" program, an initiative promoted by the Coca-Cola Company, its local bottler Bepensa Dominicana, and the Ministry of Industry, Commerce and MSMEs in an event led by President Luis Abinader.

We are very proud to have celebrated this important milestone together, reaching 10,000 merchants trained within the program.

We want to recognize and value the efforts of each merchant who participates in these training sessions. This demonstrates their commitment to their personal growth and development, helping them continue to be a driving force for the economic revitalization of their sectors.
