The Yucatecan Business Foundation (Feyac), regional ally of Mexican Center for Philanthropy (Cemefi) held the ceremony to award the 2020 Socially Responsible Company Distinctions to companies that reaffirmed their distinction, such as Bepensa, and also recognized those that obtained the distinction for the first year.
The Yucatecan Business Foundation AC (FEYAC) is the organization of all Yucatecan business owners with Community Foundation status. It operates autonomously, on a non-profit or non-partisan basis, with the commitment to promote programs and projects that benefit vulnerable or marginalized groups in the state.
The Mexican Center for Philanthropy's mission is to promote and coordinate committed, socially responsible philanthropic participation among citizens, social organizations, and businesses to achieve a more equitable, supportive, and prosperous society.
This year, Cemefi and the Alliance for Corporate Social Responsibility (AliaRSE) commemorate two decades of the program's existence to promote CSR in Mexico and Latin America, as well as twenty years of the ESR® Distinction.
At Bepensa, we are proud to have received the Cemefi award recognizing us as a Socially Responsible Company for 11 consecutive years.
In this way, we also reaffirm our commitment to continue working with best practices and leaving a legacy of social responsibility in the communities where we operate.
