April 18, 2018 - Park in a Day
On Saturday, April 14th, at 8:30 a.m., more than 150 Bepensa volunteers and residents of the Minitas community in Hermosillo gathered to build the "Las Minitas" park in just 5 hours.
The park's construction received support from Parques de México, the Bepensa Foundation, the Coca-Cola Foundation, Cummins Megamak, Cummins Minería, and the Hermosillo City Council.
The “Las Minitas” park is 1,400m2 and has:
• Children's Games
• Luminaires
• Drinking fountain
• Exercisers
• Multipurpose court
• Urban garden
• They were planted 40 plants and 30 trees from the region
With all of this, more than 2,000 residents will benefit. With this Bepensa Corporate Volunteering initiative, we are adhering to two of our lines of action: Community Development and the Environment.
